Jasmine Buds

Jasmine is a climbing vine in the olive family found throughout tropical areas of Europe, Asia, and Africa. The rose-like jasmine flower buds are prized for their beauty and fragrance and used in garlands, worn in the hair, tinctured into perfume, and added to tea blends for as long as people have been growing the plant. As a tea ingredient, the whole dried bud is in a different category from jasmine-scented blends. The fragrance and flavor come directly from the flower, and you notice that difference immediately in the cup.
