Hibiscus from Nelson's Tea features cut and sifted petals drawn from Hibiscus sabdariffa, a flowering plant in the mallow family. The species grows across tropical regions of Europe, Africa, and Asia and is widely recognized as roselle in many parts of the world. Once dried, the blooms hold onto their deep crimson color, giving every brew a vivid, eye-catching appearance.
Our hibiscus tea loose leaf flowers pour into a tart, fruit-forward cup that stands strong on its own. Combined with herbs, spices, or dried fruits, the petals also shape wonderfully layered blends served hot or iced.
